Site Analysis

Before I start brainstorming on my concepts and designs, I did an extensive site analysis on the site and its surroundings to better understanding the environmental conditions, history and its demographics.

This helped me craft a design brief, after knowing the site's conditions and needs.

Concept

Inspired by motherboards, I wanted users to view my space as a "hot spot" to meet and social network. So I made basic 3D models of what I vision motherboards will look like and came up with a grid system.

Throughout my models, I applied the grid system differently, experimenting the different uses the grids can be for, from storage to desks and seats.
