This quote speaks to me as I believe design is a lifestyle that unknowingly molds us to be the person we are. Our perceptions are altered by what society deems fit which affects what segregates the difference between a house and a home. But who is to say that that is correct? It drives me to think about the endless possibilities that can exist in a small area. Adaptation is key in this ever-changing world. It is all about experiencing something new, every moment, even for a place that has existed for decades. I believe by incorporating fluidity into rigidity, it allows people to interpret interior spaces freely. The design of interiors and art of organizing interior spaces are what makes up architecture. Without those, all buildings will just be like any other.
